Logo design for Laston&Geo, two talented dj’s and friends located at Antwerp.
The idea of the logo is based on the stereo- ‘pause’, ‘play’ and ‘record’ buttons, combined with with a loose and modern handwritten font logo.
“They shared decks with deejays like Laidback Luke, Dada Life, Sound Of Stereo, The Glimmers, The Subs, Discobar Galaxie, Geht’s Noch?, Aeroplane, Murdock, Ed&Kim, The Oddword, Hermanos Inglesos, Fedde le Grand, Jan van Biesen, Marco Bailey and many, many others. Even though they are devoted to house and electro beats, they like to go overboard with genres as diverse as drum&bass, trap, future bass, nu-disco and even a sniff of rock now and again… but… only if it’s funky baby!”
